Electronic discovery (e-discovery/ediscovery) is the process in which electronic data is sought, retrieved, secured, and searched through, with the intention of eliciting relevant information for use as evidence in a civil or criminal legal case.
E-disclosure is the legal process through which electronic information is searched for, processed, preserved and produced in response to litigation or regulatory action. The edisclosure process involves full disclosure of all electronic information relating to the case at hand.
